Since Dr. DeFilippis is boarded in both clinical and neuropsychology, he is able to provide expert testimony in a wide variety of cases. His vast clinical experience in inpatient and outpatient settings has allowed him to be accepted as an expert in numerous Federal, State and Municipal courts. Generally, his forensic work is evenly divided between defense and plaintiff clients, lending additional credence to his opinions. His experience in custody evaluations includes work on the original guidelines for conducting such evaluations adopted by the Georgia Psychological Association when he was Chair of the Association’s Professional Standards Committee in 1990.
