Process

A consultation with Lakeside Associates begins with a call to our headquarters. We then arrange a telephone conference to briefly discuss the issue and determine its scope. Appropriate staff from our principals or outside consultants are identified for the next step, the in depth interview with management. This second step will take one to two hours. As a result of the second step, additional interviews with other targeted personnel at the company may be requested. Information may also need to be gathered by the client for our analysis. We then enter into the third step, which is the solution development project. This is done at our offices by the team chosen to provide the service. The end result of this third step is a document that contains the proposed solution and recommendations. Finally, the end of the consultation is the presentation of the team's document to the company in a personal conference which allows for feedback on the perceived effectiveness of the proposal and questions concerning its implementation. Lakeside Associates may involve itself in the longer term implementation of solutions, but we do not typically do so. We feel that our objectivity is enhanced by remaining consultants and advise our clients to utilize us in identifying others for the implementation process.

An outline of the consultation process follows:

Phase One: Initial phone conference.

Phase Two: In depth interview

Phase Three: Development of solution

Phase Four: Solution presentation/conference
